Tottenham Hotspur defender Micky van de Ven has revealed that he personally contacted Alexander Isak after the Liverpool striker suffered a serious leg injury during last weekend’s Premier League encounter between Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur.
The incident occurred in the first half of Liverpool’s 2–1 victory at Anfield on Saturday and quickly became one of the most talked-about moments of the match. Van de Ven’s challenge on Isak resulted in the Swedish forward sustaining a fractured fibula, an injury that has since required surgery and ruled him out for an extended period.
