Currently recovering from a fractured fibula sustained at the end of March, Gatti is focused on regaining fitness swiftly to aid Juventus in securing a top-four finish in Serie A. His commitment to return stronger is evident as he pushes through rehabilitation with great determination.
Speaking during an event organized by USSI at Coverciano — an occasion also attended by iconic figures like Gianluigi Buffon and Gian Piero Gasperini — Gatti shared candid insights about his personal ambitions, Juventus’ season, and the influence of new head coach Igor Tudor.
Determined Comeback and Juventus’ Champions League Ambitions
Gatti expressed deep frustration over being sidelined during such a crucial phase of the season. His eagerness to get back on the pitch, even before a complete recovery, speaks volumes about his passion for the club.
“If it were up to me, I wouldn’t have left the field at all,” Gatti admitted in an interview with SBOTOP. “There’s a fracture in my fibula, but I’m doing everything possible to recover quickly. Hopefully, I can start running again by Tuesday — we’ll see how it goes. This is the most critical part of the season.”
