England legend Alan Shearer has shared his bold prediction ahead of the Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Manchester United clash in Matchweek 15 of the 2025/2026 Premier League season. “United haven’t been particularly convincing lately. They’re still very up and down. But looking at how poor Wolves have been, I think United will come out on top — even if I’m not 100% certain they’ll do it comfortably.”

Despite predicting a Manchester United win, Shearer highlighted one major red flag: MU’s recent record against Wolverhampton is shockingly poor.
Over the past year, United have lost twice to Wolves — both home and away. That means MU cannot afford to take this fixture lightly.
Last season’s defeats to Wolves were among United’s most embarrassing results, and fans have not forgotten.
“Their head-to-head record over the past year has been terrible. So United really need to be focused. If they want to get back into the top positions, matches like this are must-win games,” Shearer added.
